About The Project
The Lynnhurst Hotel recently completed phase 1 of the refurbishment of this cosy hotel in johnstone, Renfrewshire.
We recieved the commercial contract for this project at the last minute, and the hotel already had pre-booked customers looking forward to spending time in this beautiful establishment; so we had to spend the last 3 months juggling the hotel with our domestic work contracts.
In this particular project, we completed the wet rooms of 2 bridal bedrooms, 3 bars, including the bar tops and fronts, 2 victorian style toilets, and finally a victorian fireplace. All done in beautiful porcelain except for the victorian toilets, and fireplace which were tiled in ceramic.
Project Details
In this project, we tiled the walls, and floors of 7 en suite bathrooms using a combination of ceramic, and porcelain tiles.
In addition to this, we completed:
- 4 public toilets
- 4 honeymoon suites, round monsoon showers
- round jacuzzi baths sunken into the floor
As part of the refurbishment of this luxury vacation spot, we completed various tiling jobs within the hotel, which included the en-suite bathrooms, the honeymoon suites, tiled lounge bars, a large conservatory, and finally 2 Victorian bathrooms.

The Lynnhurst Hotel was a large commercial project, which required the use of porcelain and ceramic tiles.
Hard work and long days with the added pressure of a deadline, made this an interesting, and challenging commercial project, but one in which Cutting Edge Tiling can take pleasure from. Cutting Edge Tiling can add this major commercial hotel project to it's portfolio.
This is certainly a testament to the hard work ethic of Cutting Edge Tiling, and our continued commitment to both our domestic, and commercial customers. Suffice to say its been a very busy few months.
